Tips for Optimal Emotional Health

Feeling sad? Having trouble finding the positive? The following mood boosters will help improve your emotional health.

Find a form of exercise you like. Just twenty minutes of exercise each day will improve your mood since your body will start producing endorphins at that point. Experiment until you find a form of exercise (or two or three) that you like enough to want to do. It’ll help you trim down, tone up, and feel better about yourself.

Spend time with people who lift your mood. We are social creatures, and we need emotional attachments to others. Be the one who initiates, even if it feels scary or burdensome at first. If work has been taking on too big of a role in your life, take some time off and spend it with someone who makes you feel better.

Laugh. While it sounds paradoxical, laughing is actually one of the best things for dispelling the blues. Go to a funny musical, watch some humorous YouTube videos, or read the comics--anything that makes you chuckle. Research local laughter therapy centers. No kidding! They really do exist.

Get some nutritional support in the form of D and B vitamins and Saint John's Wort. Supplements may give you just enough support to help you experience a mood shift. All of these vitamins and supplements support emotional health. Be careful with Saint John's Wort if you have allergies, though; talk to your doctor first.

Set up an appointment with a therapist. A therapist can provide a confidential place to talk about what is bothering you and find solutions. Try it out; you may find even one session helps you map out a plan, and your insurance will most likely cover it.

Prioritize your emotional health. How you are doing emotionally affects your body physically, and it affects the people around you as well. Focus on wellness.

Two studies have shown that the green coffee bean extract found in some Hydroxycut products promotes weight loss. Svetol, the green coffee extract used in Hydroxycut products, is found in Hydroxycut Hardcore, Hydroxycut Hardcore Elite, and Hydroxycut Acai.In a study funded by Iovate in 2010, 45 participants took Svetol while 45 got a placebo. All 90 participants ate a reduced-calorie diet and performed moderate exercise over the eight weeks. The result: Those who took Svetol lost an average of 3.7 pounds, compared to 1.25 pounds for those who got a placebo, according to the company.
