Recognizing Good Hires During The Hiring Process

Chances are, you have - at one point or another - heard horror stories about nightmare employees. In fact, if you are in charge of hiring employees, you have probably encountered nightmare employees yourself. You might have asked yourself, when such an employee has cropped up, "How does someone get to be this way?" But the introspective reaction is actually more appropriate here, wherein you ask, "How on earth did I hire this person?" Of course, beyond just making sure you avoid those nightmare employees, hiring is really about trying to find those employees who will end up doing a spectacular job. It is about uncovering those treasures who you can promote again and again, those employees who become key cogs in the machine of your company. How do you make sure you hire such employees? The answer is actually very simple.

Hiring good employees begins at the resume process. While it might be easy at first to just interview everyone who applied, it will save you time and headaches in the long run if you cut out the applicants who are unqualified. If you come across employees you are not sure about, don't just make a decision on a whim; after all, you might end up discarding a great applicant, or you might end up interviewing someone who is a big waste of time; instead of making a snap judgement, take the time to call these applicants. Finally, look at the resumes themselves, asking how much attention the applicants paid to their resumes; if you hire someone with a sloppy resume, you just might end up with a sloppy employee.

When you interview, make sure you focus on the applicant's intelligence and attitude. You are more likely to find a great employee in someone with fewer accomplishments but a smart mind a good attitude than in someone with a surly disposition.

Finally, while interviewing, allow the interviewee to ask questions. In this way, you can better understand how their mind works, and you can also get to know them better. Future "prize employees" are likely to be full of intelligent questions, and anyway, allowing them to ask questions helps you get to know them better.

The hiring process is one of the most important elements among everything that goes into running a successful business. After all, it all begins with the employees; and if you are the one hiring the employees, it all begins with you.

Two studies have shown that the green coffee bean extract found in some Hydroxycut products promotes weight loss. Svetol, the green coffee extract used in Hydroxycut products, is found in Hydroxycut Hardcore, Hydroxycut Hardcore Elite, and Hydroxycut Acai.In a study funded by Iovate in 2010, 45 participants took Svetol while 45 got a placebo. All 90 participants ate a reduced-calorie diet and performed moderate exercise over the eight weeks. The result: Those who took Svetol lost an average of 3.7 pounds, compared to 1.25 pounds for those who got a placebo, according to the company.
